"Artificial Humans"

This artwork is inspired by an image created by an AI program, reflecting the intersection of technology, art, and humanity. The design process began with an intriguing AI-generated picture of humanoid figures with hunched backs, seemingly captivated by an object resembling a smartphone. This raises thought-provoking questions: What is AI trying to tell us? Are we, as a species, suffering from the very technology we’ve created? Are we too glued to our devices, or is this a glimpse of the next step in human evolution?

To interpret and transform this concept, we juxtaposed cutting-edge AI technology with traditional craftsmanship. Using classic molding techniques, we created fiberglass replicas of our own bodies, making the artwork deeply personal and human.
The finished pieces capture the tension between humanity and technology, wandering urban landscapes as both a reflection and a provocation. They invite viewers to question their own relationship with technology and consider what it means to be human in an increasingly artificial world
